Priya Mitchell

Priya Mitchell is a qualified British Social Worker & Mental Health Practitioner with 21 years post qualifying experience, and over 30 years’ experience of working with children and families within a variety of roles, including: Education, Social Care, Youth Offending, Mental Health and Counselling, and 9 years International School experience.

Priya currently lives in Ho Chi Minh where she works as the Wellbeing and Safeguarding Architect for the International School of Ho Chi Minh. Priya previously worked in the UAE where she collaborated with schools and government agencies to progress the mental health and safeguarding agendas as Chair of the Abu Dhabi Child Protection Cluster Group and the Abu Dhabi School Counsellor Network. 

Within Ho Chi Minh, Priya have created a DSL hub within the city, membership of which includes International Schools and Embassies. Priya and UNICEF are collaborating on the emerging child protection systems being created within the country.
