Sheila O’Shea

Originally from Ireland, and now based in Tokyo, Japan, Sheila O’Shea is a Speech and Language Therapist working in the International School setting. Sheila provides support to all learners through co-teaching and has a special interest in inclusive education and culture. Sheila completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology in University College Cork, Ireland in 2010 and a Master of Science degree in Speech and Language Therapy in the University of Limerick, Ireland in 2013. Since 2017, Sheila has worked alongside teachers to deliver support in the classroom through a speech and language therapy lens. In January 2022, Sheila joined the Local Japan SENIA (Special Education Network & Inclusion Association) Board as a board member. In August 2022, Sheila assumed the role of Support Coordinator at Aoba Japan International School.
