Rhiannon Phillips-Bianco is a Year 6 Class Teacher and Leader of Wellbeing and Positive Education for 3-18 year olds at Southlands British International School. Previously, she taught at The British School in The Netherlands where she created and led their ‘Healthy Minds’ programme – a finalist in the Wellbeing category of the ISC Awards in January 2021. She is currently developing a ‘Healthy Living’ programme at Southlands that aims to support the emotional, mental and physical wellbeing needs of the whole school community. For twenty years, she has worked in British schools in London, Rome and The Hague, both as a teacher and leader. Rhiannon firmly believes that student wellbeing needs should be placed at the heart of teaching and learning.
