Shireen Ali-Khan is an educator and a lifelong learner. She has studied in London, New York, and Geneva, and is Assistant Principal of Middle School, at the International School of Geneva. Having trained as a psychologist, she moved into education and has focused on intentionality in curriculum creation, with a more recent examination of curriculum choices when voices from historically marginalized communities are absent. She is the creator of the Universal Learning Programme Arrow, a questions-driven tool to assist educators in creating inclusive curriculum that honours the rich voices from varied peoples of the world. Shireen is a certified Solution-Focused Coach and uses nuanced and powerful questions as one tool to facilitate educators to consider their own educational philosophy, and pedagogical practices.
