Iain Driscoll

Iain Driscoll is a passionate educator who is highly experienced in providing outstanding Pastoral Care. He strongly believes that all children should have access to high quality education and strives to ensure pupils he works with value and appreciate the opportunities they are provided with.  

Prior to joining King’s College, Doha, Iain spent four years in Egypt, initially as the Director of Sport and Head of Key Stage 4 before being promoted to Assistant Head of School and Head of Pastoral Care in one of the best international schools in Cairo.   

Although born in the UK, Iain considers himself to be from Hong Kong where he lived for 19 years before going to University. His teaching career has taken him across the world with him having taught in Malaysia, China, Thailand and the UK. His experience of living and working in both the Middle East and Asia has enabled Iain to develop a sound understanding of the cultural intimacies involved in Pastoral care and will help ensure that the Pastoral Care programme at KCD continues to go from strength to strength.
