Dr. Ian Kelleher is a science teacher at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and The Dreyfuss Chair of Research for the Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning. He spends his days teaching physics and robotics while working on projects that help teachers translate the science of learning into everyday practices in their own classrooms. He is the co-author of Neuroteach: Brain Science and the Future of Education. His latest project is Neuroteach Global – a professional development platform for educators that utilizes the science of learning to teach the science of learning. Ian has spoken internationally on various topics that involve translating the science of learning into classroom and school practices. He has presented multiple times at Learning and the Brain, SXSW EDU, NAIS, and the UK’s Festival of Education. His recent work includes the following pieces on EdSurge, Edutopia, and ASCD. Ian grew up in the UK, has a PhD form Cambridge, and has been teaching in the US for 25 years.
