John Bagust

I have been teaching and leading schools in the UK and internationally since 1989 which have included assignments in Kuwait, Malaysia, Syria, Oman and the Czech Republic. I have a B.Ed (Hons) and MA in Applied Educational Management & Leadership as well as the NPQH. I was an elected Member of the Board to COBIS (2008-2017), Chairperson of the COBIS Students Events and Competitions Committee (2010-2017) and am the founder of the COBIS Games. I am an ISI Team Inspector and I’m also a COBIS Peer accreditor for the COBIS Patron’s Accreditation Scheme, allowing me to observe, report on and support schools around the world. I am passionate about improving children’s learning, school leadership and quality assurance and have run various seminars at educational conferences on these areas. I am married to Aimee, who is Dutch, and have three children to keep me busy.
