Matt Topliss is an experienced consultant and international school leader with a demonstrated history of sustained success in educational leadership over the past eleven years. He is a strong educational leader who is completing an MA in Education, focused in International Education from University of Bath. He also is currently completing his NPQH.

He has proven to be an architect of rapid school transformation with experience in a number of different curricula. He has worked in a number of different contexts including the UK, Bahrain and now Egypt and currently as Principal at El Alsson British International School in Cairo. His consultancy roles with the International Baccalaureate Organisation have seen him mentor 12 schools through the candidacy phase of Middle Years Programme authorisation. He has also led workshops and consulted on applications for candidacy and authorisation from schools in 20 different countries. He is a committed leader who develops excellent relationships with students, teachers and parents and still plays a very active role in day to day teaching and learning and his development of staff and students. He is an IB MYP and IBCP, IEYC, IPC and IGCSE, GCSE and A-Level specialist.

Away from school, Matt is committed family man with four step-children. He is a keen sportsman and coach and has been able to use a number of these sports and coaching skills in his day to day leadership roles.
