Nicola Taylor

Nicola is the Director of Programmes for LLSE and leads on the curriculum design for all six of the newly reformed National Professional Qualifications. Nicola began her career as a teacher of geography in and has worked across a range of secondary school settings in middle and senior leadership positions in both Kent and East Sussex. She has completed two headships as well as leading across two secondary schools in her capacity as Executive Principal. Nicola has also worked as Education Director for a small Multi-Academy Trust, working both on internal academy improvement as well as external projects with partners in the wider world of education. Most recently she has been Interim CEO for the Trust. Nicola’s experience is further strengthened by her continued work with a number of national training providers having written course content and facilitated on leadership qualifications for over ten years. Nicola’s passion and expertise lie in leadership development, curriculum and assessment design and implementation as well as teaching and learning, and quality assurance. Nicola has enhanced her practical experience with a strong commitment to her own professional development, continuing her own education by completing an MA in Effective Education, NPQH and most recently by becoming a student member of the Association for Coaching.
