Shruti Narang

Shruti Narang, a Mathematics and Social Science educator for over 15 years, is on a mission to remove the fear of Mathematics from the minds of children. Her endeavour to empower students and make them future-ready made her re-examine the Mathematics and Social Science curricula for the upper primary grades with a focus on developing future global citizens. Shruti’s mantra is that there is a solution to every problem.

A graduate of Economics, with a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Education from prestigious universities in India, Shruti entered the field of education after working for 7 years in the corporate sector. She has worked with the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Environment, Government of India as an external resource person to work with special needs children through various art forms. It was her keen interest in special needs and art-integrated curriculum enrichment that paved her way into the field of education.

Shruti has received a certification from MIT, USA for her reflection work on empathy and forgiveness. Her leadership is guided by numerous pedagogical courses from Harvard. She has recently completed a certificate course from the University of Michigan on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).

Shruti is a self-taught painter and a trained Indian Classical singer, and she writes poetry on her favourite subjects: children and education. She joined The Millennium School, Dubai in April 2021 as Head of Section, Primary.
