Stephen Mitchell

Stephen is an experienced school and MAT leader, having worked as CFO, COO, and CEO at a range of schools and trusts since 2012.

He is focussed on ensuring that children stay at the heart of how decisions are taken in schools, and that financial resources give the best academic return on investment.

Stephen owns education operations support business Keystone Knowledge and devised the financial accreditation standard SchoolMark, which is awarded by the ISBL.

He achieved his MBA with a thesis on ‘Improving the quality of management in education’ and is an accredited SRMA.
