April Remfrey

April consults with international schools and parents striving to up their inclusion game. Concurrently, April is the is the COO of Education and Employment Equity which is the parent company of the Steps Community in Bangkok, Thailand.

A respected inclusive leader and visionary with an impressive history of building widely used and respected services, April was a teacher for over 20 years in three countries and has experience in the public, private, and international school environments.

Credited with the creation of a progress monitoring cloud-based program, April continues to spread the word of inclusive practices through writing for internationally recognized publications and creating online courses.

April serves on the International and European boards of directors for SENIA: Special Education Network and Inclusion Association, is an influencer for SPAN: Safe Passages Across Networks, and mentors families with neurodiverse children in Switzerland. She holds two undergraduate degrees in general education and special education as well as a master’s degree in exceptional education.

Since 2013, April, her husband, and daughter have lived in the Zurich, Switzerland area.
