Alyssa Ballard

Alyssa Ballard has worked for ACS International Schools since 2012. She is the Principal for Digital Teaching and Learning Development and she oversees the promotion, provision, development, coordination and evaluation of innovative and effective digital teaching and learning. A passion for Education Technology led her to earn a Master of Science in Integrating Technology in the Classroom. She is highly skilled at developing and upskilling IT skills in learners from ages 10 to 18 and adults. She models lifelong learning through continuous personal, professional learning and development. She desires learners to have engaging and meaningful experiences that prepare them for whatever their future holds.  Alyssa is also an American-British dual citizen and has lived in various places due to her father’s U.S. Air Force career. She began her educational career as a teacher of Drama and English. Prior to her current role,  Alyssa was the Academic Principal overseeing all aspects of the curriculum and instruction at her school.
