Dr. Tamar is an experienced educator and school leader with a strong background in both international schooling and higher education. Holding a PhD in English Philology, she has worked as a university lecturer and academic specialist, gaining deep expertise in teaching, teacher training, curriculum development, and educational planning.

As the Founding Head of Buckswood School Riyadh, Dr. Tamar leads the school’s strategic development, shaping its culture, academic standards, and alignment with the British curriculum and IB PYP framework. She is committed to building a nurturing, forward-thinking school rooted in the Buckswood 12 Pillars philosophy, ensuring that every child grows as a confident, capable, and globally minded learner.

Dr Steffen Sommer, Director General of Misk Schools, is a passionate linguist and High Performance Learning (HPL) expert with over 30 years of senior leadership experience in Europe and the Middle East. He is an Honorary Vice President of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), a co-founder of the international division of the Headmasters’ and Headmistresses’ Conference, and an HPL Fellow. He was named one of The PIE's 50 Voices 2025 – International Schools edition. 

Faiza Mubeen is a senior educational leader, inclusion architect, and systems-builder who works at the intersection of strategy, compassion, and impact. With extensive experience in founding schools and scaling departments, she is widely recognized for building inclusive cultures from the ground up turning vision into structure and intention into sustainable practice. She carries a masters degree in international education management from Ludwigsburg University Germany.

Faiza believes that culture precedes systems and that strong systems protect people. Beyond school leadership, Faiza is actively engaged in global education and youth-leadership networks, contributing to international forums, summits, and policy-focused platforms.
