Overview

The conditions for funding for post-16 providers stipulate that students must continue to study English and maths if they have not achieved a grade 4 or above at GCSE.

Colleges and FE institutions need to be able to embed literacy and numeracy in vocational programmes and design a curriculum that engages reluctant learners. Attend this course to become better equipped and more confident to help students reach the required level in English and maths.

This Raising Attainment in Post-16 English and Maths course gives you transferable skills and provides best practice examples from institutions effectively delivering the new GCSEs and readying pupils for resitting their English and maths GCSE examinations.
