Overview

Recruitment in Education – The Department of Education’s Statutory guidance for schools and colleges, ‘Keeping children safe in education’ sets out the legal duties with which schools and colleges must comply with. You are required to prevent people who pose a risk of harm from working with children by adhering to statutory responsibilities. This one-day accredited course gives education staff the information and understanding they need to recruit safely and comply with relevant statutory guidance.

It is suitable for all individuals in the education sector who are involved in staff selection and is valid for five years.

Delegates on this accredited Safer Recruitment in Education course, led by Ann Marie Christian, will consider the issues through presentations, case studies and group discussion. Delegates will complete four modules and an eighteen question multiple-choice assessment and receive a certificate of attendance and course completion if they score thirteen and over.

This course is accredited by the Safer Recruitment Consortium.
