Overview

With child and adolescent mental health services under increasing pressure, schools play a crucial role in identifying and supporting children at risk of, or suffering from, mental health problems.

It is estimated that one in ten children and young people have a diagnosable mental disorder, and as these numbers continue to rise, it is essential that schools have the knowledge and the capacity to support affected pupils.

Our Supporting Pupils’ Mental Wellbeing training course is designed to provide you with practical tools and techniques to measure, monitor and manage mental health challenges within your school. Work through case study examples and take away strategies you can implement that will stop mental health being a barrier to both teaching and learning.

Through interactive sessions and practical workshops, leave this training course with the confidence to support your pupils’ mental wellbeing, ensure that you comply with the legal duty of care and learn how you can create a mentally healthy school for pupils, parents and staff.
